Tkam blog post: Writing prompt # 1:

The first character that I am going to compare is scout. Scout is like my little sister. She is like her because she loves to go outside and play all day like scout. She can also get on my nerves some times also like scout. She is also like Scout in the way that she is always getting into some trouble whether it be at school, at home or on the streets, she always has to get into trouble for one thing or another.

Another character I would like to compare is Mrs.Maudie to one of my next door neighbors. For her safety sake I will call her Mrs.Doe, but she is always outside watering her plants and tending to them and she is always there when you would like to have an intelligent conversation about the weather or politics. She is also the aunt of my New American.

Another person I would like to compare is Atticus to my father. Even though he is not a lawyer, he shares some of the same traits with Atticus, He is always seen reading the newspaper in his favorite place in the living room. He is not exactly the disciplinarian but he is the one we go to when we want some sort of advice on whether or not to do something stupid or how to build something.

The final person I will compare is my mother to Calpurnia. My mother is the housekeeper and the one who also keeps us in line, she is the one who cooks, cleans, does laundry (not often, I do my own laundry and clean up my areas of the house) but overall she is the one who ultimately rules in our household, and she rules it with an iron fist. She is a no-nonsense type of person and she alos takes us to church every sunday.
